Pre-paid funeral plans
Many people wish to provide for their own funeral expenses and to plan their own funeral arrangements. A Pre-payment funeral plan is a caring, sensible and cost effective way of doing so.
Our plans are administered by Funeral Planning Services Ltd in association with a network of Independent Funeral Directors throughout the UK. Funeral pre-payments are held in a Funeral Planning Trust and monitored by the Funeral Planning Authority.

Need help with the cost of a funeral?
If you have a problem with financing a funeral, speak to the Department of Works and Pensions (DWP) immediately. This should be done before you confirm the funeral order with us. The DWP will only fund or contribute towards the cost of a funeral if the immediate family is unable to pay for the funeral and the potential claimants and their immediate family are in receipt of certain state benefits.
The form required for making claims to the Department for Works and Pensions is SF200. This can be obtained from any DWP office, Job Centre or Citizen’s Advice Bureau.
